Why OddSage exists

I got tired of tools that only help you place the next bet.

OddSage is paper-only Polymarket research. No live trading. No wallet. No copy-trade execution. You bring an idea. You run it on resolved history. You get keep, kill, no edge, or inconclusive.

The line is the product: test your Polymarket idea before you risk real money.

The gap I kept hitting

Polymarket is full of sentences that sound like edges. Fade the first spike. Fade longshots in a category you already watch. Fade a headline move that always snaps back.

Most of the software around those sentences does one of three things: it shows a dashboard, it opens a live practice wallet, or it assumes you already write Python. None of those answered the question I actually had: did this idea ever show up in markets that already resolved, and should I keep it or kill it?

So I built a lab that will say no.

How the lab works

Two doors. Same job.

Paste a Polymarket URL. OddSage opens a Market Dossier — a research page for that market, not a ticket. You see the question, rules, quotes, and history the provider actually gave us. If something is missing, it stays missing. We do not invent a quote to make the page look complete.

Or skip the link. Open the AI Strategy Builder and type the idea in English the way you would say it to a person. The builder drafts a strategy. You read the draft. Then Save & run.

English idea → draft → Save & run → verdict.

The four endings

Keep: the paper test left something worth holding.

Kill: it did not survive.

No edge: it ran and still looked like noise.

Inconclusive: not enough evidence to call it. That is a stop, not a soft keep.

A tester that only ever says “interesting” is a mood board. OddSage will kill an idea. That is the point.

One public paper-test that did not get a pass sits here: this strategy page. Read it if you want to see a finished run that failed in public.

What this is not

It is not a live virtual wallet. If you wanted fake cash on live odds, that is a different product. The distinction is written out on Polymarket paper trading that tests the idea.

It is not a Python notebook. If your edge already lives in a backtest SDK, keep that workflow. OddSage is for people who have a sentence and want a verdict without opening a repo. Same job by search: test a Polymarket strategy on resolved history and the Polymarket strategy tester.

It does not place the trade if the verdict is keep. A keep is still paper. Research evidence. Not a signal to size up.

Why publish kills

If every public example is a win, the product is marketing. I would rather show a kill. Cheap lesson on paper beats an expensive lesson in a wallet.

Start at oddsage.com. Paste a market or type the idea. Create an account when you want to save a draft and run it. If it dies, it dies on paper.
