Polymarket paper trading that tests the idea — not a live virtual wallet

“Paper trading” on Polymarket now means two different products. People use the same words. They are not the same job.

One kind is a live simulator. Fake wallet. Live odds. You click as if you were in the market. The market has not resolved yet. You are practicing the hands, not testing whether the idea ever had an edge.

The other kind is what OddSage does. You write the idea. You paper-test it on resolved history. You get a verdict. Keep, kill, no edge, or inconclusive. The tester will kill it.

If you wanted a live virtual wallet, this is the wrong page. If you wanted to know whether the idea survives a historical run, stay.

The distinction, once

Simulators let you fake-trade live markets. OddSage paper-tests the idea on markets that already resolved, and will kill it.

That is the whole contrast. I am not ranking those tools. I am telling you which meaning of “paper” this site uses. A fake fill on a live book is practice. A keep / kill on resolved history is research.

OddSage is paper-only Polymarket research. No live trading. No wallet. No copy-trade execution. There is nothing to deposit, even in play money. There is a draft, a run, and a verdict.

How the paper test actually starts

Paste a Polymarket URL. You get a Market Dossier. Research page for that market. Not a ticket, not a paper order form.

Or type the idea in English in the AI Strategy Builder. The builder drafts a strategy. You read it. Save & run.

English idea → draft → Save & run → verdict.

Keep means the paper test left something worth holding. Kill means it died. No edge means it ran and still looked like noise. Inconclusive means there was not enough evidence to call it. Inconclusive is a finished result. It is not a practice round you replay until it looks green.

A live simulator will almost never tell you to stop. OddSage will.

See a kill, not a highlight reel

This public paper-test is a kill / no-edge style story. That is the example. I am not attaching a win rate to it. Read the page. If “paper trading” only ever showed winners, it would be marketing.

Same product, other doors: the Polymarket strategy tester, and test a Polymarket strategy on resolved history.

What you will not do here

You will not connect a wallet to trade. You will not copy someone else’s positions. You will not place a paper bet on a live book and watch it tick.

You will write the idea. You will run it. You might get told it is dead.

That is the cheaper lesson.

Paper-test the idea

Start at oddsage.com. Paste a market or type the sentence. Create an account to save and run.

Test your Polymarket idea before you risk real money. I’m Avinash Jetwani. Paper, here, means the idea can fail in public.

FAQ

Is this a $1,000 practice wallet on live Polymarket?

No. That is a live simulator. OddSage does not give you fake cash to trade live markets. It paper-tests the idea on resolved history and returns keep, kill, no edge, or inconclusive.

Can I copy-trade or place paper bets from OddSage?

No. No wallet. No copy-trade execution. No live paper orders. Research only.

Why would I use paper trading that kills my idea?

Because the live market will charge you more for the same answer. If the idea is dead, better it dies on a paper test than in a wallet.
