Test a Polymarket strategy on resolved history (keep, kill, or no edge)
You already have the idea. The question is whether it ever showed up in markets that already resolved.
OddSage is how I test a Polymarket strategy without putting money on it. Paper-only research. No live trading. No wallet. No copy-trade execution. You type the idea. You run it. You get keep, kill, no edge, or inconclusive.
Not a dashboard. Not a bot that waits for you to click Buy. A test on resolved history, then a verdict.
Does my Polymarket strategy work?
That is the sentence people actually mean. I cannot answer it in a blog. I can run the idea.
Open the AI Strategy Builder. Type it in English. The builder drafts a strategy from that sentence. You read the draft. If it is not what you meant, edit it. Then Save & run.
The run is paper. It does not send an order. When it finishes, you get one of four endings.
Keep: the paper test left something worth holding.
Kill: it did not survive.
No edge: it ran and still looked like noise.
Inconclusive: not enough evidence to call it either way. That is a stop, not a maybe-keep.
If you wanted a Polymarket strategy tester by name, that is the same product. This page is the job: test the strategy. Get a verdict.
One public kill
I am not going to invent a win rate for you. I am going to point at a finished public paper-test.
This strategy is a kill / no-edge style story. Read it if you want to see what OddSage does when the idea does not get a pass. That is the only public example I am linking. If a tester never shows a kill, it is selling hope.
Two other ways people “test”
Some people paste a Polymarket URL first. That is fine. OddSage opens a Market Dossier for that market. Research page, not a ticket. Then you still write the idea and run a paper test. The dossier does not place anything.
Some people mean live practice: fake money, live odds, click around. That is not this. If that is what you wanted, say so clearly. Polymarket paper trading on OddSage is the historical idea test, not a live virtual wallet.
You also do not need to write Python to test a strategy here. If your test lives in a notebook, keep it. This path is English → draft → Save & run → verdict.
What you will not get
You will not get a copy-trade. You will not get a wallet connect for execution. You will not get OddSage placing the bet if the verdict is keep.
A keep is still paper. It is research evidence. Not a signal to size up.
An inconclusive is still a finished test. Do not rerun the same draft until it blinks keep. Change the idea, or walk away.
Test it
Go to oddsage.com. Type the idea. Create an account to save the draft and run it.
Test your Polymarket idea before you risk real money. If it dies, it dies on paper.
FAQ
I only have a sentence. Can I still test a Polymarket strategy?
Yes. That is the AI Strategy Builder. Type the idea in English. Read the draft. Save & run. You do not need a script.
If OddSage kills it, did I use the tool wrong?
No. Kill is a valid result. So is no edge. So is inconclusive. The tester did the job if it stopped you from funding a dead idea.
Is this the same as practicing on live Polymarket with fake money?
No. Live fake wallets practice on markets that have not resolved yet. This tests the idea on resolved history and will keep, kill, call no edge, or call it inconclusive.
